After brushing Hailey’s hair this morning I kept seeing the image of a mother brushing her daughters hair in my meditation.

I did my research, went through symbolism, paintings, texts, rituals and was not able to find what I was looking for 100%, but I want to create it.

I want to photograph mothers and daughters for this MOTHER’S DAY and capture these beautiful connecting moments with mothers and daughters.

I am going for a darker, painting-like style. I will use very simple styling and light for it and focus on one image as print after the session.
